Phoenix Photography Locations

As the capital, Phoenix hosts many unique locations to photograph. From city skylines to desert vibes, this city has it all. Personally, I haven't shot here much, but below are places that have been recommended to me as well as my favorite spots for you to enjoy.

Downtown PHX
Throughout all of downtown Phoenix is numerous photo spots to get that city look within an image. A common yet uncommon place I recommend to get the city feel in the image is to take pictures at the top of one of the many parking garages within the city. Another idea is to walk around the streets of the city and find building walls or corners that add the perfect touch to a picture.

Camelback Mountain
Located in the heart of Phoenix and Scottsdale, Camelback mountain ia a popular hiking spot while having so much desert beauty. With that being said, part of the fun in capturing pictures here is hiking, but it makes the view uptop all worth it. From the top, you can see all of the East Valley and it's beauty and it's the best place to get a 360 view in my opinion. Warning though, the hike is a pretty hard hike so go with that in mind and bring lots of water!(Picture out outlook to the right)

Phoenix Zoo
This spot is one of my favorite places to do nature photography, and not just the animals. Of course the zoo has plenty of cute animals to photograph, but also has beautiful landscaping as well. If you're looking for a place to practice shooting animals or nature, the zoo is one of my top recommended places, as there are so many different subjects to shoot and landscapes.
